The Old Ale and Porter House is an early 18th century single storey cottage adjoined to a mid 18th century 2-storey house, currently combined as one with altered openings. It is a category C Listed Building and belongs to the Tyninghame Conservation Area.
Biomorphis altered the inside of the house to provide new living spaces with the conversion of existing attic space to form 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the creation of a new stair, internal structural alterations to form an open living/kitchen area and new roof lights.
