Archi School is an intensive learning programme developed by biomorphis for architecture students who want more time, clarity, and confidence.
University terms move fast. As a result, many students struggle to refine ideas or reach their full potential. Archi School creates the space to slow down, focus, and grow.
A “Third Semester”
During the summer, Archi School acts like a third semester.
Instead of rushing deadlines, students revisit projects with fresh perspective. They polish portfolios. They sharpen skills. Most importantly, they build confidence before the next academic year begins.
Because the programme runs outside term time, learning feels focused rather than pressured.
Tailored Teaching
Every student arrives with different goals. Therefore, tutoring adapts to individual needs.
Teaching stays flexible and student-led. Whether the aim is portfolio development, conceptual clarity, or technical confidence, the programme adjusts accordingly.
In addition, tutor-to-student ratios remain very low. This allows time for one-to-one tutorials, detailed feedback, and open discussion.
What You’ll Learn
The course strengthens both design thinking and practical skills.
Students typically work on:
- Core architectural skills
- Design development and methodology
- Drawing, modelling, and representation
- Portfolio improvement for jobs or university applications
- Clear and confident presentation
As a result, work becomes more coherent, intentional, and communicative.
Who Teaches
The course is led by experienced architecture tutors with over twelve years of combined teaching across UK schools of architecture.
They have taught across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including at ESALA and other recognised institutions. Because of this, they understand where students need to focus and how progress really happens.
Location
Classes take place at Out of the Blue Drill Hall, in Leith.
A dedicated classroom supports workshops, tutorials, and reviews. Meanwhile, the on-site café offers space to pause, reflect, and recharge between sessions.
