London Festival of Architecture

Reclaimed is an installation which aims at expressing the contrast between a form of power distilled by classical architecture and another form of power embodied in the desire of people to reclaim the city.

While architecture can determine how we interact with each other, this intimate installation creates a loss of control of the room, as originally intended, and repurposes the gallery into a collective space. The proposal moves away from the architecture’s instinct to control and brings visitors together to engage in a reflection on positive change.
